The kitchen is very well equipped, has a four-burner cooker with oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, plenty of cupboard space and work tops and has all the pots, pans and utensils needed for family self-catering.

The lounge and kitchen diner area is a spacious room with exposed beams, a comfortable sofa bed (if required), armchairs, large solid pine table and 8 chairs.

La Grange Ardoux

Lounge/dining room with patio doors to the terrace, a beautiful fireplace with log burning stove and exposed oak beams. The dining table is large enough to seat 10 people in comfort, while leaving plenty of room for the settees and easy chairs, there is a satellite TV and music centre.

The kitchen is fully equipped with four burner hob, large double fan oven, microwave, large fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, large work surfaces and ample storage space.

Ground floor bedroom with double bed, ensuite bathroom with large shower, WC and washbasin. There is also a dressing room with ample wardrobe space.
This bedroom also has a lounge area with two easy chairs and a coffee table. There are patio doors to the terrace

Activities at La Grange

The facilities at La Grange are extensive and have been designed to have something for all ages to enjoy.

Swimming pool, 10m x 6m with a depth of 80cm to 2.4m, with paved terrace all around and is enclosed.

Within the gardens is a boules court and garden chess set, croquet is available on the lawns.

A separate area next to the sports/games hall has a football pitch and an area for other ball games. Within this area is a 15ft trampoline with safety net.

Here you will find the heated indoor pool, 8m x 4m with a depth of 1.4m with paved area all around with tables and chairs.

The sauna can take up to 6 people and has cold shower within the sauna room.

A multi-gym for those who need to keep in shape.

A full sized snooker table and two American pool tables, one full size the other ¾ size.

Table tennis is also available.

We have an area for entertainment, which includes satellite TV, DVD, video, music centre, x-box games and a variety of board games.

We have wireless broadband for those who need this facility.

Local area

Fontenay le Comte is the nearest town with all facilities.

The Mervant / Vouvant Forest with lakes for boating or fishing is just 10 minutes away

The Green Venice a network of tree lined rivers and canals is 15 minutes.

La Grange is also ideally located for visiting Puy du Fou, Futurascope and Cognac.

The Atlantic beaches are clean and sandy and are less than hour away.

La Rochelle is a 45 minute drive.

Golf courses at port Bourgenay, La Domangère and Les Fontenelles.

Prices include the free use of all the facilities except where safety restrictions may be in force,
 i.e. small children unsupervised around the pools and size restrictions on snooker table.
