The Cottage

Comfortable lounge with wood burning fire, TV, video and DVD player with a selection of family and children’s films.

Dining area with table and chairs.

Kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, washing machine and microwave.

Ground floor double bedroom with adjoining shower room and toilet.

Master bedroom on the first floor with a double bed and bunk beds.

Separate bathroom with bath / shower.

A cot and high chair are available on request.

Chalets

The two chalets are situated in the garden. They are for guests use and will not be let to any other party.
These chalets do not have private facilities and guests will need to use the bathroom or shower room in the main house.

Chalet One has two single beds.            Chalet Two has a double bed.  

Outside

Private pool with superb views over the surrounding countryside.

Dedicated barbecue area.

Half size snooker table and 3/4 size table tennis table in the barn.

Local area

There are many local villages nearby, including Villaines La Juhell, with shops, cafés, bakeries and weekly markets.

Sille le Guillaume is about 8 mile away and has a chateau, shops, bars and restaurants.
There is a safe swimming beach at Sillé Plage within the national forest of Sillé where you will find windsurfing, sailing and pedalo hire.
Bicycles can be hired here for the superb trails in the forest which vary in length and difficulty.

St Ceneri-le-Gerais, said to be the prettiest village in France, is home to artists and has many good restaurants.

The spa town of Bagnoles de l’Orne has a lake, casino, bars and restaurants.

In Fresnay sur Sarthe there is an outdoor heated swimming pool open in the summer, cafés, tennis courts, skate board park, cinema, internet centre, shops, restaurants and a Saturday market.

Saint Suzanne is a fortified medieval village overlooking a gorge and has jousting on Sundays.

Golf - there is a 27-hole golf course near Laval.

Le Mans - famous for its 24 hour race and motor museum.

Paris is only 55 minutes away by TGV from Le Mans.

Dinard, Tours and Rennes are all a 2 hour drive away.

Caen is 2 hours, Le Havre is two and a half hours, St Malo and Cherbourg are 3 hours and Calais and Boulogne are both 5 hours away.

Pricing structure (per week)

Prices are for up to 6 persons. Additional guests (max 10) can be accommodated at £25 per person per week.

All bed linen is included in the price.
