Large well equipped kitchen/diner comprising of a hob, table top cooker, microwave, fridge, washing machine, cafetiere and all the usual cutlery and crockery. Table and chairs to seat four.

The lounge is a good size with a free-standing wood burning stove, coffee table, chairs and an English TV and DVD player.

There is a comfortable put-u-up settee which will sleep 2 adults if needed.

Double bedroom comprising a double bed, bedside tables, dressing table, built in wardrobe with an under cupboard for storing cases.

Outside

The property, La Fleuriais, stands in its own grounds surrounded by unspoilt countryside.

There is a lawned area with patio furniture and gas barbecue exclusively for your use.

Parking area.

Guests are welcome to use of our above ground plunge pool.

Local area

La Fleuriais is an ex-farmhouse standing in its own grounds surrounded by unspoilt countryside within easy walking distance (0.5km) of the the village of Montaudin.

The village has a pharmacy, post office, a small supermarket, butcher, baker and doctor. There is also a tabac/restaurant and a hotel.

The main towns of Ernée and Fougères are just 10km and 14km respectively.

The department of Mayenne is a very rural area but with varied activities to suit most tastes.

Walking and biking is particularly encouraged with disused steam railway lines being used for this purpose.

Fougeres has a new swimming pool complex.

The landing beaches at Arromanches where you can still find the WWII Mulberry harbour, is an interesting visit.

For those who like to view a pretty and interesting town, Bagnoles de l’Orne takes some beating with its wonderful chateau, lake, small shops and eating places to suit all tastes.

The distances from the ferry ports are: St Malo 90 minutes, Caen two hours, Cherbourg two and a half hours, Le Havre three hours and Calais and the chunnel is five hours.

The nearest airports are Rennes (1 hour) and Dinard (1.5 hours).
