	Holiday apartment in Cannes

This two bedroom apartment on the Cote D’Azur in the South of France is situated in the heart of Cannes close to the Palais de Festival, between the Old Town and La Croisette. The beaches of La Croisette are a few minutes stroll one way with the beaches of Boulevard du Midi a five minute walk the other.
Being so close to the Old Town there are many five star restaurants within a 2-3 minute walk as well as a variety of restaurants offering cuisine for all budgets.

	The apartment is 85 sq. metres and has two large double bedrooms, a living room, fully equipped kitchen, dining area and a bathroom with separate WC.


	The living room has: Two convertible sofa beds. A CD player and radio. A TV / Video with a selection of English language videos.



	The kitchen is fully equipped and has a fridge/freezer, microwave, oven/hob, coffee maker and toaster.

Bed linen and towels can be rented if required.

The surrounding area

Nearby is the village of Mandelieu, which has an excellent golf course and 8 kilometres of fine sandy beaches ending at the foot of the Esterel hills.

The International Film Festival is held here in April or May and in August there is a huge firework festival.

Other events include a Battle of Flowers and several Gastronomic weeks.

In the hills behind Cannes is the elegant old town of Grasse, famous for its perfumes and essences and surrounded by mimosas and the fields of roses and other flowers which go into making of the perfumes.

Mougins is one of several traditional Provençal villages with some excellent restaurants.
