Local area

The villa is situated in a peaceful hamlet about three miles from the ancient hill-perched village of Seillans which is classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France.

Seillans is a delight to explore with its rose-red roofs, cobbled lanes, sites that date from the 12th century and panoramic views.

There is a bakery with wood-fired oven a few minutes walk from the villa and a wide choice of restaurants, shops, supermarkets and regular village markets within ten minutes drive.

The perfume centre of Grasse and the regional capital of Draguignan can be reached in under half an hour and it is just fifteen minutes to the huge Lac St. Cassien where you can sail, swim, wind surf or laze aboard a pedalo.

Seillans is ideally poised between the mountains and the sea. It is about thirty minutes drive to beaches along the coast from St. Raphael to Cannes.

Nice airport is less than an hour away and the spectacular corniches and famous resorts of the Cote D’Azur are within easy driving distance.

Inland you can explore Provence with its dramatic scenery, perched villages, delicious fragrances and food.

You can visit the caves and lakes of the Alps, the magnificent scenery of the canyons of the Gorges du Loup and the Gorges de Verdon, find rivers for canoeing or angling and excellent ski stations.

There are opportunities in the area for practising virtually any sport or leisure activity from gliding and golf to boat trips and water parks, from art galleries and exotic gardens to local markets and vineyard visits. In addition to the pleasures of a gentle stroll, drinks on the terrace and sheer relaxation.

Deposit of 25% payable on reservation.
