Outside From every room there are patio doors to access the front terrace, to sit and absorb the peace and tranquillity of this unique location. Barbecue and garden furniture are provided. Unwind in the beauty and simplicity of the natural surroundings, where the only sounds are the gentle burbling of the river mingling with the sound of bird song. On the opposite bank of the river, belonging to the owners, is the Moulin de Marcilly – the oldest mill in the Vienne. Further up the lane is the Norman church of Marcilly. In the summer the river is perfect for paddling to cool off or to spend the day fishing. For children the environment is reminiscent of “Swallows and Amazons”. |
