	Luxury mobile home on Les Charmettes, Les Mathes, La Palmyre

Situated on a large caravan site with many facilities on the north bank of the Gironde estuary in the village of Les Mathes near to La Palmyre.

The principal features of this 35ft x 12ft, 6 berth caravan in its own private plot are the huge master bedroom (12ft by 10ft), the huge lounge (12ft by 15ft) and the modern kitchen/diner.

	There are four bikes in the shed for guests use and more can be hired more on the site.

The area

Within 5 miles a range of fantastic beaches with clean sand & Atlantic breakers.
Cycle tracks lead to all the best beaches with bike parks just 10 metres from the beaches.

Nearby places to visit include Futuroscope, Puy du Fou, le Marais Poitevin, the Cognac region, the vineyards of Bordeaux and several interesting islands.

Golf courses are nearby and huge pine forests for cycling, pony trekking or just walking.

Many fine restaurants with local seafood specialities are close by.

Visit the historic towns of La Rochelle, Rochefort or Saintes.

The Zoo of La Palmyre, with 1600 animals is now the most important zoological park in France.

La Corderie Royale - constructed in 1666 by order of Louis XIV, La Corderie Royale (The Royal rope factory) was the biggest rope factory in Europe for warships.

Fort Boyard - before becoming the setting of a televised game, Fort Boyard was a castle to protect the island of Aix, and a jail. Today this building constructed in the middle of the sea is declared an historic monument. You can take a boat trip from various places on the Ile d'Oleron to Fort Boyard. Plan ahead - the trips get booked up quickly.

The oyster farms and salt flats near Marennes are less than 10km from Les Charmettes.
