Accommodation La Terre de Haut is a house full of character with an 18th century stone staircase and large windows. The accommodation on three levels consists of: An open plan living area with TV and DVD player. Kitchen equipped with a gas cooker with electric oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and washing machine. Large bedroom with queen-size bed and bedside table. Double bedroom with double bed and table. Twin bedroom. Two single bedrooms. A put-u-up bed is available if required. Bathroom with bath and WC. Second bathroom with shower and WC. Heating is with electric radiators. |

Local area The gite is situated in the hamlet of Huberville, 4km from Valognes. Local activities include horse riding with several stables within easy access, hiking and cycling. The nearest beaches are only 12km away. Cherbourg - 25 km - apart from shopping, Cherbourg has the "Cité de la Mer", a unique scientific, cultural and tourist centre dedicated to underwater world and its
exploration. In Normandy there are more than thirty different museums of the Normandy Landings. Notably worth visiting is the Musée Memorial de la Bataille de Normandie 1944 at Bayeux. |
