The garden is fenced around the perimeter and with lockable gates to the driveway, this property is totally secure for children and pets.

Local area

Villedieu les Poêles - 6 minutes - is a very popular tourist destination having grown up around the copper and brass industry. There are a number of different workshops, foundries and museums around the town that make for a pleasant afternoon visit.

The town also has a very good selection of shops in the main street as well as several cafe bars. Tuesday is market day and this takes over the centre of town for the whole morning.

Avranches - 20 minutes - is large cathedral town with a good and varied choice of restaurants and shops.

Granville -35 minutes - seaside resort with shops, restaurants and a weekly market on Saturdays.

There is an indoor fun pool at Vire, 20 minutes away.

Vire also has an 18-hole golf course.

Go-Karting is available within 10 minutes of Le Pont Morin.

Visit St Malo with its walled town containing a variety of lovely shops and restaurants.

Mont St Michel, 45 minutes, the world famous landmark is France’s second most visited attraction.

Safe family beaches can be found all around the Baie de Mont St Michel, at Carolles and Jullouville. St. Malo also has good beaches and a tidal swimming pool.

Smoking is not allowed inside the gite although you may do so outside.
