	Single-storey village house in North Lot, Midi Pyrénées and close to the Dordogne, Auvergne and Limousin regions of France


	Comfortable single-storey village house at Grealou, set high on the causse between Figeac (12 miles) and Cajarc (5 miles). A good-sized rocky garden and amazing views. Ideal walking area. Gréalou is on the GR65 long walk to Compostela.

A spacious well-equipped second home facing south with a large partly-shaded terrace.
There is heating for cooler evenings, early and late in the season.
The owners are proud of their garden which is rapidly maturing.
In the evening sit on the swing hammock with a drink and watch the lights come up in villages 15 miles or more away.

Accommodation

Two bedrooms, one double, one twin - but the house is only let to two people.

Bathroom with shower, WC, basin and washing machine, another WC with basin.

Large open-plan kitchen/living area with comfortable chairs.
Dishwasher, microwave oven, kettle, toaster, iron and full cooker.
Telephone, TV, CD/cassette player, lots of books and local information.

There is only one step up into the house and the property is all on one level through the house and onto the terrace.

The Area

Gréalou is ideally placed for visiting the many chateaux, caves, famous Romanesque churches and historic towns in this very picturesque area.
Figeac (12 miles) with its historic streets, and Cajarc (5 miles) on the Lot offer markets and plenty of shops. There are pools at Cajarc and Figeac, and the Célé is good for canoeing and swimming.

A little further away Conques, Cahors and the Dordogne valley are well worth a visit.

Airport at Rodez is 1 hour 10 minutes away.
Toulouse airport is 2 hours away.

Tenants are asked to bring own bed linen and towels, to clean the house on departure and to water the terrace pots and borders near the house.
