The balcony overlooks the 1 acre garden which is a feature of the property.

All guests have full use of the owners’ 10m x 5m non-chlorine swimming pool together with sun loungers.

Barbecue facilities are also available.

Local Area

Basic shopping, petrol and banking facilities are available in Latronquiere which is 5km away. The nearest supermarkets are situated in Maurs and Figeac. There is a weekly market in Maurs every Thursday.

The nearby towns of Figeac, Aurillac and St. Céré provide a full range of shops and there are excellent restaurants in the area to be enjoyed.

Fishing and canoeing are available locally on the Rivers Lot and Dordogne.

There is also lake fishing on the well-stocked Lac du Tolerme.

The Lac du Tolerme, 9km away, is an ideal place to swim, hire boats or just to walk the 4km trail around the lake

Other activities in the area include: cycling, walking, karting, golf, tennis and horse riding.

There are many beautiful places to visit. You could choose to drive the “Quercy Trail” and spend time visiting charming villages such as Puy l’Eveque, Bélaye, Cazals, Luzerch and the delightful town of Gourdon

Cahors, one and a half hours away, was the the birthplace of Leon Gambetta, one of the founders of the Third Republic.

Visit the famous Pont Valentré, over the River Lot, reputedly one of the finest bridges in the world and wander around the streets of the old town.

Rocamadour, 1 hour away, a village dating back to the 12th century, perched on a 150m high cliff offers fantastic views over the surrounding countryside.

Padirac, 40km, is where a giant hole in the ground appeared in the early part of the 20th century. Further exploration revealed a vast network of caves which you can explore on foot and by boat.
