The first of the cottages is situated on the mill stream with a raised balcony that has views of the stream and river. On the ground floor there is a fitted kitchen with gas cooker, microwave, full sets of pots and pans, dishes, glasses and a washing machine. There is also a dining table and four chairs. |

The second of the two cottages situated on the mill stream has three floors. The lounge is on the same level as the mill isle, the middle floor has the kitchen, twin bedroom and separate WC and the top floor has the shower room with WC, a double bedroom and a single bedroom. Doors from the lounge lead out to the first terrace and then to the bridge. One of the terraces of Le Boischaut is on the mill island, just across the bridge. The kitchen has a gas cooker, microwave, full sets of pots and pans, dishes, glasses and a washing machine. |

This is the smallest of the cottages, designed for one or two people. It is not on the mill stream, it is in its own private space and guests can still access the mill stream and river for fishing or to use the boats. The ground floor has a lounge and kitchen. The kitchen with breakfast bar is fully fitted and includes washing machine, fridge and microwave. The seating area has a comfortable corner settee. The top floor bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobes, high ceiling with large fan and an ensuite toilet and shower. |

Local area Le Moulin du Pont is in a beautiful position on the river and has its own mill stream and island that are used for boating, fishing and bird spotting. Le Moulin du Pont is situated on the outskirts of the small village of Le Pont Chretien. The village has a baker, post office, a grocer and two bars, all of which are within walking distance. The area around the mill is excellent for walking and cycling. The town of Argenton-sur-Creuse - 5km - has many shops, a covered market on Saturdays, 4 supermarkets, a new swimming pool, canoe and bike hire and a museum based on the archaeological dig at Argentomagus. There is good course fishing in the Bouzanne or the nearby river Indre with bream, roach, barble, pike or carp waiting to be landed. The Brenne Parc Naturel with its lakes and wetlands is a short distance from the gites. Futuroscope is a 90 minute drive away. |
