Accommodation

Due to the stone staircase winding up through the house we regret this property is not suitable for the disabled.

Ground floor

Large garage for two cars also houses the washing machine and drying facilities.
In this garage is a full-size pool table, table tennis table and dart board with all equipment provided.

First floor

Fully equipped kitchen / breakfast room with double sink, dishwasher, oven/grill, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and toaster.

The breakfast area has a table and seating for up to six people.

Twin-aspect lounge / diner with feature stone fireplace and wood-burning stove, dining room table and six chairs, settee, sofa bed, TV, DVD, video and stereo.

Large shower room with vanity unit, toilet, shower and large built-in cupboard.

Balconies to the front and rear with outdoor furniture provided.

Second floor

Large airy bedroom with double bed, built-in wardrobe, dressing table and chest of drawers. This room has views past the church across the vineyards to the mountains.

Two bedrooms with twin pine beds in each and built-in wardrobes.
One room overlooks the plane trees in the village square.

Large bathroom with twin basins, bath with shower over and toilet (step up to toilet and bath).

Local area

The village has a range of shops including a baker, newsagent, grocer, post office, tourist office, hairdresser, bar, hotel/restaurant and medical centre.
Like many French villages, Nezignan l’Eveque holds festivals throughout the year where local wine and superb French hospitality can be sampled.

The surrounding area is a wine lover’s paradise with a multitude of local vineyards providing some excellent wines.

Miles of sandy Mediterranean beaches for sunbathing, fishing and water sports - the nearest being 15 minutes by car.

The lively resort of Cap d’Agde is 15km away.

The Canal du Midi is close by for boating or walking.

Golf - Saint Thomas golf course at Béziers.

A short drive away are mountains and lakes for walking, canoeing, windsurfing and fishing.

Beziers - 25km, Montpellier - 60km,  Nimes - 100km and further afield are Provence, Andorra and Barcelona.
