	Village house with private swimming pool near Uzès in the Languedoc Roussillon

La Trouvaille, with a private pool and courtyard, is situated in the small village of Sanilhac near Uzès.

Enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside and the charm of being in a small village whilst within easy reach of the larger cities, mountains and the beaches of the Mediterranean.

Accommodation

Living / dining room with exposed beams and fireplace, comfortably furnished with fold-out sofa, armchairs and dining table and chairs.
Also included - UK satellite TV, DVD, CD player and speakers for hook-up to MP3 or iPod.

The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, dishwasher, gas hob and electric oven, microwave oven and all small appliances.

Tiled floor loggia with sofa bed and access to courtyard via a stone staircase.

Double bedroom with king sized bed, orthopaedic mattress and feather duvet in winter and cotton quilt in summer.

Twin bedroom with two single beds and large wardrobe.

Bathroom with bath, shower and a washing machine.

Separate WC.

The entire house is centrally heated.

Outside

The courtyard is wonderfully shaded in the summer and has a complete outdoor kitchen including wood barbecue.
A dining table, chairs and chaise longues are provided.

The courtyard swimming pool, 3m x 5m x 1.5m deep, is completely private and secure with a latch gate.

There is ample parking including lockable garage space.

Two bicycles are provided for exploring the village and surrounding countryside.

Local area

The village of Sanilhac has two restaurants, a wine co-op and a boulangerie / tea room.

Uzès - 10 minutes - one of France’s 50 Villes d’Art. Every Saturday there is large market that sells everything from pottery to fresh meat and fish. The town has terrific restaurants and charming shops to explore.

There are magnificent hiking trails to the Gardon river valley within 5 minutes walk from the front door.

The Pont du Gard is 15 minutes away.

Collias, the next village, has kayak rentals etc. for river sports.

Within a 30 minute drive are the Cevennes mountains and also a famous Bamboo garden.

Golf courses at Uzès and Nimes.

Nimes is 20km and Avignon is 35km. The Mediterranean beaches are approximately one hour away.

Spain - Barcelona and Genoa are 3 - 4 hours on the autoroute.

Dogs (house and courtyard trained) welcome
with an additional €100 security deposit.
