From the south facing terrace there is a wonderful view of the garden and the village lake.

On the terrace are tables and chairs. Meals are served here if it is not too hot!

The garden is well-stocked with lavender, palms, olive trees, other Mediterranean plants and has two ponds connected by a waterfall. There is also a petanque pitch.
There is plenty of space to enjoy a leisurely stroll or just to sit and enjoy the surroundings.

For the sun lovers there are sunbeds around the pool, which is 1.35m deep.
In the middle of the pool is an island with a palm tree which gives much needed shade on extremely sunny days.

The house overlooks a lake well-stocked with fish including carp. The lake is a two minute walk from the house.

Art classes - Local art classes can be arranged.

Gourmet dinners and wine tasting - weeks or weekend breaks with visits to various caves during the day and in the evenings taste the different wines with good regional home cooked food.

Horse riding - for small groups all year on request. The horses can be ridden by children and adults, beginners and experienced (small children to be accompanied by a parent).

Anniversaries - we can arrange celebrations for all age groups. Come to the south of France and celebrate your 5th, 50th, 60th or 70th birthday with your friends and family, without any worries of cooking or cleaning.

Escueillens-et-St Just de Belengard is situated 8km from Belveze.

Mirepiox - 15km - situated in the heart of the Cathar region is the closest town.

The Lac de Cavayère (Carcassonne Plage), a 18 hectare man-made lake near Montlegun, is a perfect place to spend the day. There is a beach with designated swimming areas, pedallos, fishing and an abundance of wildlife.

Nearby, top grade trout streams run down forested mountains into rivers where there are opportunities for canoeing and kayaking.

In winter skiers can enjoy the uncrowded pistes of Andorra and the Pyrenees.

Limoux is 20km and Carcassonne is 30km away.

Toulouse airport - 1 hour 20 minutes.

Mediterranean beaches - 1 hour 20 minutes.

Andorra - 1 hour 45 minutes - for duty-free shopping and skiing.
