Local area There are two large supermarkets a short drive away at Pontchateau. The town also has most other amenities including a hairdresser, a tourist information office and a variety of shops. The local beaches, including La Baule with its long sandy beach, are an easy drive away. La Briere National Park offers horse-drawn traps and barge trips through the reserve. The medieval town of Guerande is well worth a visit.
