	Le Petit Bleu, in the hamlet of La Grande Tournicotière, is just a 10 minute walk to the village of St. Georges de Reintembault. The village sits on the Brittany/Normandy border amongst verdant countryside and forests and is ideally placed for exploration to both inland and coastal France.

Accommodation

Lounge with wood-burning stove, sofa, chairs, day bed (providing additional sleeping accommodation for one), coffee table, CD/FM radio, French television and video player with a selection of videos and books. To augment the wood burner, the gite has electric heating.

Separate kitchen with full sized gas cooker, microwave, fridge (with small freezer section), washing machine, dining table and chairs.

Double bedroom with bed, bedside tables and lights, double wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Bathroom with small bath with shower over, wash handbasin and WC.

Outside

Four acres of gardens, fields and paddock with secure parking in the courtyard for one car.

Gite garden - this small garden to the rear of the property is private and secluded from the owners’ farmhouse. It is walled and laid to lawn with shrubs and the gravelled terrace is equipped with table and chairs, parasol and barbecue to take advantage of summer living.

The owners are passionate gardeners and have not only renovated le Petit Bleu and their own farmhouse in the courtyard, but they have also created a paradise of gardens in which to relax and wander – orchards, formal yew and box square, long English perennial borders, herb garden and of course the productive potager.
This produces an abundance of soft fruits and vegetables in season; all of which may be picked and enjoyed during your stay to help make your meals more memorable.

Local area

Le Petit Bleu in the hameau of La Grande Tournicotière is just a 10 minute walk to the village of St. Georges de Reintembault with its boulangerie, boucherie, bureau de poste, pharmacie, restaurant and bar.

Le Petit Bleu is ideally situated to explore:

The forests and town of Fougères, with the largest walled castle in Europe and the most ancient bell tower in Brittany.

The magnificent architecture of Rennes with its ‘Quartier Ancien’.

The American Cemetery and Memorial at St. James.

The beaches of Dinard and St Malo.

Sample the oysters and mussels of Cancale.

Not forgetting Mont St Michel.

The ports of St. Malo, Caen, Cherbourg and Le Havre are all within easy reach.

Both Dinard and Rennes Airport are one hour away by car.

October - March	£ 200

The weekly rental includes the provision of bed linen and towels and during Mid Season and High Season there is an allowance for electricity and gas.

During our Low Season, short breaks (minimum 3 days) are available at £40 per day, plus £3.50 per day heating charge.
A wood supply for the wood-burner is included in this price.

Le Petit Bleu is non-smoking and unfortunately pets cannot stay at the gite.
