French farmhouse accommodation with swimming pool in the Dordogne

For 1 or 2 couples we offer the ground floor and all facilities
 - upstairs rooms will be closed off and unoccupied.
For larger groups the full accommodation is available plus all the facilities.

Large hall.

Large airy salon elegantly furnished with sofas and easy chairs, digital satellite TV, VCR and DVD players, music centre for CDs and cassettes, a fire for the cooler months, a varied selction of books and board games.
A telephone is provided for local and incoming calls.

Farmhouse kitchen with seating for eight, gas cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, tea towels, iron and ironing board, food processor, fridge and freezer, toaster, cool box and freezer blocks.

Double bedroom with ensuite shower room, wash hand basin and WC.

Twin bedded room with ensuite shower room, wash hand basin and WC.
 

First floor

These two bedrooms share a large bathroom with bath and shower.

On this floor there is a large open plan play area with sofas and chairs, a second TV, video and a good selection of books and board games.

Electric blankets and central heating to ensure your comfort during the cooler months.

Outside

In the garden there is plenty of room to spread out and relax, play badminton, ball games or boules.

Pool - the 10m x 5m heated swimming pool is totally enclosed to give peace of mind to parents of young children. The pool has a diving board, roman steps, solar shower and underwater lighting. It is cleaned and maintained daily and has a salt system.

A poolside abri provides welcome shade during the hotter months with table, chairs and sun beds.

Attached to the farmhouse there is a spacious games room with a table tennis table and darts board.

There are two terraces on the south east and south west sides of the farmhouse.

There are portable barbecues, and a sand pit and paddling pool for the little ones.

Local area

St. Vivien - 1km - with a village shop / bar, wine co-operative and tennis court.

There are numerous market towns nearby, such as Ste. Foy-La-Grande, Montpon and Castillon-la-Bataille.

The nearest town is Vélines (3km) with bar, post office, pharmacy, doctor, boulangerie and general store.

The nearest supermarket is 10km.

Activities

Leisure lake with beach, boating, riding, fishing, 2 tennis courts, crazy golf,water chute, bars and restaurants.

Two golf courses at Chateau des Vigiers, 30 minutes, one 18-hole and one 9-hole.

Golf at the Chateau les Merles - 1 hour, 9-hole course.

Canoeing and kayaking on the River Dordogne.

New lake providing hydrojets, quadbikes and roller-skating.
